Welcome to the Frontpage

I hold no malice against those of you who are racist… but, I do hold you accountable for how wrong your prejudices are. I hold you accountable to now think for yourselves. The only difference that we need to recognize is the difference between right and wrong. It is wrong to maliciously judge a person based on race, religion, culture or color. We make judgments about a person’s personality in any given social situation. We find those with whom we prefer to spend our time and those that share our common interest. We make constant judgments when doing so but these kinds of judgments hold no malice. I can prefer one person’s company over another’s but I do not base my preference on the color of their skin. A wise man once stated that a house divided will not stand. That man knew what he was talking about. As long as we separate ourselves from one another based on these frivolous differences we will continue to be divided. I invite each and every one of you to join me in leaving our old prejudges behind and adopting a healthier and more rewarding point of view. If we work together we can beat hatred, racism and bigotry… one person at a time.

I think that this question may be hard to answer for some of us. We make judgments about one-another every day of our lives and many times we make mistakes. We make judgments that are based upon the values we learned while growing up. When we were children it was our environment that modified many of our ideas about race, religion, culture and color. As adults, our environment may still influence how we view others. For the most part we are products of our environment, past and present and our parents taught us most of our social perspectives. It’s a shame that from one generation to the next we are constantly re-learning fears and hatreds of those who are different from ourselves. Racism is a social sickness and the only way we can ever defeat it is to stand up to it. Make your statement... stand up and be counted and let all who cross your path know that you are going to make a difference… and that you are taking a stand.

I am not a racist. I am not a bigot. I will not judge you based on the color of your skin. I will not judge you based on your religion. I will not judge you based on your age. I will not judge you based on your sex. I may make judgments about you, one on one, and based on the strength of those judgments, I may decide how much time and energy I will invest in you.  I may make these judgments about you… but I will never judge you blindly or maliciously. If we work together, we can put a big dent in racism and bigotry. - Prometheus & Locke
